**In order for our school to continue to qualify for Title 1 funds, it is imperative that you submit the Free and Reduced meal application. Regardless of the outcome of your application, your child will receive free breakfast and lunch meals during the 2022-2023 school year.  **

Hueytown Intermediate Parents,

I am very excited to announce that starting today, September 1st,our school now falls under the Community Eligibility Provision(CEP) for breakfast and lunch. This means that all students at our school will once again eat breakfast and lunch at no cost!

The Community Eligibility Provision is a win for everyone. It allows schools to provide all students with free and nutritious meals.Stigmas are eliminated, and there is less time spent in the cashier's line! CEP also allows our child nutrition staff to streamline their operations.

If your child has any money remaining in their account, it may be used to purchase a la carte items like bottledwater, ice cream, etc.

If your child had any charges made for meals prior to September1st, you will need to clear up any negative balance.

I want to thank Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÒÅÆ’s Child Nutrition Program staff. They have worked long hours to make this a reality.Again, all meals today, September 1st, and moving forward are being served at no cost.
