Hello my name is Zambia Harris. This is my twenty third year in education. Before becoming principal at Brookville Elementary School, I was the assistant principal at Pleasant Grove High School (2021-2023) and prior to that I served as the assistant principal at Gardendale High School (2016 - 2021). I also served as an English teacher for sixteen years.

I am very passionate about education and being an educator. As a child, I always played school. I would teach my dolls, stuffed animals and even my mom. So being an educator is a dream come true for me as well as
something.

I am a mom of a son who is in college. I really enjoy spending quality time with my family. When I am away from school I absolutely love to travel, read books and cook.
