Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÒÅÆ

(On December 12,) I had the honor of being appointed the Principal of the Burkett Center by the Jefferson Country BOE. Burkett is a unique school consisting of multi-handicap students and an inclusion Pre-k program. As I thought about what had occurred today, It became clear to me the great responsibility I had been entrusted with. Having a special needs son of my own, I understand how hard it is to meet his needs every day when he is totally dependent on others for all his needs. These teachers and para-professionals work so hard each day for these students. I see the love they have for the students and the love they get back from the students. What a special, special place to work. I am honored, privileged, and humbled to be their leader. I ask for your prayers, and I need all your prayers, that God will lead me to be the best Principal I can be for this amazing school.
