My name is Tinker Rogers and this is my nineteenth year in education. In July 2020, I moved from the position of Snow Rogers Elementary Principal to serving as Gardendale Elementary School Principal. I am beyond honored to continue serving the students, faculty, and families of a school I have come to know and love!

Before joining the GES family in 2020, I served as an assistant principal here at Gardendale Elementary School for two years. I am a graduate of Auburn University (Montgomery, Alabama). I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, grades 1-6. I also hold a Masters and Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership.

On a personal note, I was born in Brewton, Alabama. I moved to Birmingham in 2005 to continue my teaching career. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, thrift store shopping, and spending time with my family and friends.

I look forward to continuing to work alongside some of the best and brightest students and teachers in the world!
