We are here to assist students with career, academic, and social/emotional success.

Classroom Counseling:  We teach lessons in the counseling classroom throughout the year. Our lessons focus ontopics such as feelings, bullying, friendships, respect of self and others, careers, good character traits, problem-solving skills, and conflict resolution skills.

Individual Counseling: We help students understand themselves and others.

Small Groups: We offer small groups to students who need help with the same topic, such as family changes, social skills, self-control, study skills, and anger management.

How can my child see a counselor? Parents, teachers, and students may request counselor services. Parents may email or phone the counselor. Students may let their teachers know when they need to see the counselor. Administrators and teachers also make referrals.

Other school counseling activities include organizing events such as Red Ribbon Week, the Big Brother and Big Sister program, the Annual Food Drive, and State-Wide Testing.
