Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÒÅÆ

I am currently the Principal at Hueytown High School. I served seven years as Assistant Principal at Hueytown High School. Some of my duties included but are not limited to discipline, scheduling, athletics, teacher and staff mentoring, building maintenance/safety, textbooks, conflict resolution specialist and the list goes on.  I previously worked as a Social Science Teacher at B.T. Washington High School in Tuskegee, Alabama, for seven years.  During my seven-year tenure, I coached football, girls’ and boys’ basketball, and served as department chairperson.  I also attended and graduated from B.T. Washington High before going on to attend Alabama State University.  I received my Bachelor’s degree and two Masters’ degrees from Alabama State University.  I completed my Educational Specialist Degree (Ed.S) at Auburn University in Montgomery.  Currently, I am working on my Educational Doctorate Degree (Ed.D) at the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa.  Helping students and teachers find their way to be better overall is the passion that drives me in education. Helping others is why I chose this profession.  If there is anything I can ever help with, please let me know.
